Updated review Nov 2021. Excellent company who do what they say with friendliness and efficiency. I have used them for quite a few years now and my rugs are always returned to me, smelling fragrant, clean and looking like new. With old dogs in the house who have the occasional accident, this is no mean feat! I would reccomend The Rug Laundry to anyone.

A while ago we had returned from Morroco with two beautiful rugs. Unfortunatley one, very light in colour, had a stain which we could not remove and we could not find anyone else who could. I had given up hope of being able to have the stain removed and the rug restored. I was wrong! I found the Rug Laundry and now the rug is looking beautiful again. I found the staff very helpful and proffesional. They are expert in their knowledge and efficient in their arrangments. I would highly recommend them

We had a large rug in our lounge that needed a good clean, it was getting a bit mucky what with three kids and a dog. We found Rug Laundry, they gave us a quote, they collected it, cleaned it, returned it looking good as new - with no fuss, no messing about. Would use again.

I contacted the company after my daughter had a sickness bug and unfortunately she was sick over her rug, it didn't matter how much I clean the rug, I just couldn't get rid of the smell.They were extremely professionally Troy pick up the rug and returned it and it's now like new and no more smell ☺️They had amazing customer service and friendly throughout, would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Rug Laundry highly enough. They collected on time , from a boat, and returned in the same efficient way. The rug which is very patterned 11 years old and has had a puppy being house trained on it has now been restored to it's original state. Amazing, thank you so muchJan

Some 40+ years ago, whilst working for a short time in Istanbul, I purchased a hand-made Hereke rug 2 x 1.3 m. I dare not attempt to clean it myself, so sought a professional services. My local carpet-cleaning service would not touch it, but recommended The Rug Laundry. Initial telephone contact indicated that they understood my rug, so asked them to do it. They arranged collection, and later, its return. It came back looking new, with the colours richer than I remembered them new.From my one experience, I would recommend this service; a friendly and knowledgeable team, who clearly take a pride in their care in handling exotic and rare rugs and carpets.

I moved into my new home 6 months ago and found a stain on the carpet which I could not get clean after trying all different 'carpet cleaners'. These guys have worked their magic and the whole carpet looks brand new! Not any sign there was ever any marks. Really nice team, professional, efficient and great value for money! 100% recommended, could not ask for any more!

From my first contact with this company they were informative and helpful. I felt I was given a very individualised service. The end result was really really good; the rug was a second hand very grubby silk rug, which now positively glows and feels so soft underfoot.

Great personal service from Troy and the team. My long pile wool rug hadn't been cleaned since it was new, and that was at least over 12 years ago, I didn't think there was anything they could do. It's like new, so soft and fluffy and smells amazing. Collected from my door and delivered safely back by Troy. Regular updates by email and phone. Prompt response to my phone calls and emails. Would recommend 👍

I simply cannot fault this company, I am so glad I called them to clean my sorry looking cream lounge rug. From the first call they were friendly, helpful and professional- they explained everything I needed to know. The rug was collected at precisely the time specified and returned much sooner than I expected, again bang on time. Bearing in mind we’re not local too! It’s IMMACULATE! Better than new, I am so pleased. I can’t believe it’s the same one! It’s worth every penny (you easily pay via their invoice system- brilliant!) and I would not remotely hesitate in using them again & recommending this fabulous Welsh company! Diolch!

I can't recommend these guys enough!! My rug was dirty, stinky and horrible (my cat had used it as a toilet frequently...) and it honestly looks like the day I bought it!! I'm so pleased!!I live in England so I was concerned about getting my rug to Wales but the process was so easy and Troy and the team organised everything for me. My rug was picked up and delivered back to me without any issues and I was kept updated along the way.They're so knowledgeable and use the best equipment so you know rug is in good hands. Really impressed with the friendly and professional service and will definitely be using them again!

I can’t praise or recommend the rug laundry highly enough. They have been an absolute delight to deal with since the first phone call.We had 6 carpets that we purchased in Saudi Arabia 30 years ago. They’ve had 4 dogs, 2 kids and 2 completely different environments to contend with ie; sandy and muddy paws/feet and were extremely soiled in places. We had tried to clean them over the years but did more damage than good. So when they were collected by the lovely Aled, I did warn him that they honked. He was very polite and said, “don’t worry, I’ve seen it all, I’m used to it” .So off they went, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive as 4 of theses rugs were expensive Qashqais and impossible to replace. However I’d need not have worried. Within a day I’d had a condition report and a telephone conversation to confirm what we wanted to have done as they offer a range. 2 weeks later we had an email to say they were lovely and clean and ready to be delivered. We were so pleased as we’d really missed them.So, they arrive.....I’m so excited to see them and hope they are not only clean but still in one piece.OMG....they look brand new, as if we had just purchased them 30 years ago. Colours I had forgotten were there, I cannot tell you how happy I was. As each rug was unrolled, my joy increased, I was falling in love with my beautiful rugs all over again.So, my rugs are now clean, smell sweet and are so soft under the foot. Please, have complete confidence in Troy and his team with your precious rugs, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.

I happened to mention to Troy that the gel hand sanitisers were drying out my skin and was starting to irritate. He immediately suggested The Rug Laundry's non-alcohol hand-sanitiser which is a professional grade sanitation (he mentioned some log number which I am informed means a great deal in bacterial and viral control) but it really is much kinder to sensitive skin.Hope they start selling it online soon as I will be needing some more in the not too distant future.

I would like to thank a Troy for the amazing job that was done on my Rug. It has been restored to its former beauty following pooch abuse😀Can I also thank him for introducing me to the new hand sanitiser they are now selling. It is amazing!! I suffer with eczema and was finding the alcohol in most were burning and causing flare ups... I can now kiss goodbye to dry skin and burns on my hands and I now use a hand sanitiser with confidence. Thanks guys awesome service and product. 👏🏻

I cannot thank The Rug Laundry enough for the incredible job they did on my enormous antique Turkish rug. I can only describe it as a miracle how all the colours reappeared after cleaning when it had been a faded shadow of it's former self prior to the expertise at the Rug Laundry. They have been a delight to deal with and considering the size of my huge rug I feel the price was not just good value but great value. I am thrilled to have found the Rug Laundry and will now be getting another antique rug cleaned by them. Thank you so much.

I am a long standing dealer in old and antique oriental rugs currently based in the Works Antiques Centre, Llandeilo, and it is very important to me to have access to a local rug cleaner that I can trust for expertise, dependability and affordability. The Rug Laundry team are the best that I have found and I now use them for all my rug cleaning needs. They have proved themselves able to provide an excellent cleaning service not only for wool rugs but also silks which are notoriously difficult to clean effectively. I dropped off my rug to be cleaned as I didn't just want a surface clean with a carpet cleaning machine, I needed my rug to be washed properly and after watching their rug cleaning videos on YouTube, I knew I had found the right company for the job. The team contacted me as soon as my rug had been cleaned and dry and ready to collect. It looked and smelled absolutely fantastic. Best rug cleaning service I have had, thank you again. I highly recommend the rug laundry for anyone wanting their rugs to be taken care of and to be cleaned properly.

I have used the Rug Laundry twice for cleaning and restoration of an over 30 year old Chinese rug and an over 50 year old 13 foot by 10 foot silk Chinese carpet. The first had an oil spillage and was very dirty and the second had suffered flooding. They came back looking amazing.The large Chinese carpet included changing the lining, which they sourced so it looks like the originally lining. Troy and Sarah continuously kept me in the loop on progress. I can’t praise the level of professionalism and service highly enough.

I definitely recommend The Rug Laundry and will use again.My beautiful light cream, New Zealand wool rug was ruined with a massive coffee stain (my coffee) and general family traffic marks.A local carpet firm would not even try and clean it saying it was impossible.After I tried every cleaning method advertised and googled, in desperation scrubbed it in the garden with biological detergent and hot water then a hose, probably making it worse.I loved my rug too much to discard so contacted Troy to ask him to dye it!After hearing my story Troy said it sounded like a challenge to clean it when nobody else would even try!It was in an embarrassingly terrible state when Troy saw it. Light cream , patches of darker cream, smudges and water marks with a huge coffee stain.Wednesday I saw the impossible made possible. My rug looks, smells and feels like new.What an amazing result. It will never reach that state again now I know where to take it!Thank you so much Troy and the Rug Laundry.

this is the first time we have used the Rug Laundry (previously Prestige rug spa) and we were very impressed with the service, from initial contact to the return of our rug, they kept us informed of collection, delivery, the process and condition of our rug and when we received it back, it was beautiful. We thought it was past redemption, having been down for over 20 years, with kids dogs etc, but it has been restored to its former glory. Best company in the UK! Rug cleaning was superb and the customer service was exceptional. They kept us informed all the time about the process of rug cleaning, from the moment it leaves your house until they send it back. I look at this lovely clean rug and I cannot believe it was a horrible dirty old rug stored in the shed and waiting to go in the bin.A shame that they are not in my region but I would happy pay the transport costs to have another job well done again! A professional but very friendly service. I have a beautiful, large Chinese silk rug that was a bit ‘battle worn.’ Throughout the process I was kept fully informed and I have just received my rug back- the colours are vibrant and it smells smashing! I could do with a stay at the ‘Spa.’

We had a hand-woven Moroccan rug which was soiled in a few spots by our cats so ended up using PRS due to the detailed information on their site of the methods they use and previous good review. Communication was great, the process was easy and the rug came out just as new. Very impressive altogether!

This was a tricky rug to clean a rather unusal fibre composition Troy was reluctant to clean it but was very helpful in discussing the risk .We went ahead and whilst he would have hoped for a better result i am delighted.Would not hesitate to reccomend this very proffessional company to anyone in the UK!

I used prestige to clean a delicate silk Turkish rug that had definitely seen better days. The coloured has seeped in various areas and there were stains. I knew that the final outcome wouldn't be perfect because of the extent of the discolouration but I was very pleased with the final result. It turned out significantly better than it had been.Also I found Prestige very professional from the start. The collection and delivery process was simple and efficient and whilst they were in possession of the rug they kept me updated with what they intended to do with the rug (having done a spot test first).I would certainly have no hesitation in using them again or recommending their services

We took a cream linen chesterfield chair to be cleaned after holiday cottage spillage. Wonderful service, kept us fully informed on how it was going and great results. Small matter of 5 rugs also restored, all look amazing after some tlc from Troy and the team. Hopefully no more spillages, but we will definitely use again for winter/spring clean and thoroughly recommend.

The Rug Spa did a fantastic job of cleaning my Chinese silk rug. The rug is over 20 years old, pale pastel colours, and had never been cleaned. It had some marks on it, was generally grubby, and had indentations where a table had stood on it. It came back like a new rug, all marks and indentations completely gone. Being as old as it is and having been exposed to light it has faded a little since new but in all other respects it is like having a new rug. Collection and delivery was easy to arrange and communication was good throughout the time my rug was with them. I would recommend them without hesitation.

An excellent job thank you very much.We have removed the pews from a corner of the church to make the area more useful. It is well used for informal services, Messy Church, Bright sparks (mother and toddler group) and meetings. It gets a lot of wear so to have nice clean carpets is an excellent start to a new term. The babies will greatly appreciate their sparkling clean play mat.The small kitchen area is also looking very good.It might well have been a relatively small job for you but it was a gigantic one for us. Thank you from all at Llandingat Church.

Troy and his team did an amazing job in my elderly parents house, even helped move all the furniture. The carpet has been down for over 40 years and it looks like new now. They even managed to clean the stair carpet working around the stairlift that’s now their.They also cleaned my new rug after I managed to accidentally spill a cup of coffee over it, it came out brilliantly. Would definitely recommend Troy and his team.

Troy and team worked wonders when our dog was diagnosed with arthritis and we had to have a regular rotation of rugs on our laminate to stop him falling over. Spanking clean rugs, dealing with mucky paw prints and door-to-door service with a smile from Aled. I can't recommend them enough!
